Nato Vachnadze, born Natalia Andronikashvili on June 14, 1904, in Warsaw, then part of the Russian Empire, became one of the most celebrated Georgian actresses of the Soviet era. In 1941, she was honored as a People's Artist of the Georgian SSR.
