Plot

The musicians file onto the stage, one after another, settling into their spots: B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmie Vaughan, Dr. John, and Art Neville. Vaughan, planted at center stage, kicks off "Six Strings Down," a heartfelt salute to his late brother, Stevie Ray, the very reason these legends have gathered. One by one, the guitarists join in, each carving out their own space within the tune. King weaves fills beneath Clapton's soaring solo, Cray's crisp, ringing notes dance against Raitt's searing slide work, while Guy answers Vaughan's finger-picked melody on his worn Stratocaster with sharp, piercing bends. Then, the track ignites, soaring into a brilliant tapestry of luminous guitar voices.
