Blood Diamond (2006)
Plot
In the midst of the violent civil war ravaging Sierra Leone in 1999, a former mercenary, now a smuggler, forms an unlikely alliance with a Mende fisherman. Together, they embark on two perilous quests: to locate a priceless pink diamond and to save the fisherman's son, who has been forcibly recruited as a child soldier into the merciless rebel factions wreaking havoc across the nation. Their journey is fraught with danger as they navigate a landscape filled with chaos and suffering.
