Plot
General Othello, a Moorish commander, is deceived into believing his beloved wife Desdemona is unfaithful with his lieutenant, Michael Cassio. In truth, the entire plot is a venomous lie spun by the resentful ensign, Iago. This gripping performance was captured live at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket, bringing the classic tragedy to the big screen.
