Plot

As a lengthy home birth unfolds, the expectant couple and their midwife are gradually overtaken by an unsettling feeling that something has gone terribly wrong. Complications arise during labor, and outside, a fierce blizzard seals the family inside their house—leaving them vulnerable to whatever dark force may be lurking among them.
