Plot
Kerstin drifts silently across the Mecklenburg Lake District in her red East German kayak, floating between tourism and bleakness. For days, she glides over the water, determined to stay alone. The network of rivers and lakes feels familiar, yet her past remains a mystery. What is she running from? Who is chasing her? The stillness shatters when Alima arrives, finally asking the solitary paddler the questions that matter.
